National Mustang Day is April 17th, honoring the anniversary of the day Ford introduced the Mustang to the public on April 17, 1964. A record 22,000 Mustangs were sold on the first day and 400,000 Mustangs were sold in the first year!
The Mustang Museum of America, located in Odenville, Alabama, will celebrate National Mustang Day on Friday, April 15th through Sunday, April 17th with its display of 112 Mustangs, representing the first fifty years of Mustangs from 1964-1/2 to 2015, giving visitors a unique visual history of the iconic Mustang. The Museum also has the largest collection in the United States of Fox-Body Mustangs used by the Highway Patrol and other government agencies. Whether you currently drive a Mustang, owned one in the past or are just interested in automotive history, you will find the Mustang Museum of America is a unique place to visit.
All visitors from April 15th to April 17th will receive a 20% discount on showroom admission and 10% merchandise from the gift shop. Also, all visitors will receive a free National Mustang Day decal and Museum challenge coin. (Challenge coin's are while supplies last.)
